And just like that, somehow it's the last weekend of July! If you're anything like us, you're looking for low effort and high reward this week – something along the lines of an Easy Steak Salad or crowd-pleasing Tuna Patties. Maybe you're in the mood to try something new, something like Char Siu Chicken (so good!) or a Quinoa Greek Salad bursting with veggies. If you're the gadgety type, our Sous Vide Pork Chops are one of our more popular sous vide recipes – and for good reason.
One last thing: Looking for more dinner ideas? Want to see nutritional facts on your recipes? We recently launched our new paid meal plan service. We have delicious meal plans to suit every taste and lifestyle. This month, our focus is on Dinner in a Flash – perfect for fun-filled summer days when no one feels much like spending the afternoon in the kitchen.

A weekly newsletter sharing instances of hope, humor, and humanity.
Hello readers! Welcome back to the FGF newsletter. Here are a few of the cheering or compelling things I've come across this week. As always, if you have anything you'd like to share - articles, podcasts, books, interesting finds - email me at cambria [at] simplyrecipes [dot] com with the title "Feel Good Friday." Thanks for being a part of our community! What I Liked This Week:
Brightly is devoted to raising kids who love to read. I just signed up for their newsletter for kids' book recommendations!
Speaking of newsletters, What's In My Bag? is one of my new favorites. Premise is simple: every week "one interesting person" shares four favorite things they carry around in their bag. Brought to you by the same folks behind Recomendo, one of my other favorite newsletters.
Have you heard about Library Extension? It's a Chrome app that tells you if the book, music, or movie you're looking at on Amazon is available at your local library!
After hearing rave reviews forever, I am finally going to try these. I'll report back!
I also recently got another one of these, and am reminded how great they are for storing flour. Now I finally have a proper container for bread flour!
Another new favorite: In Digestion, a roundup of the best food media on the web.
Anchor the eternity of love in your own soul and embed this planet with goodness. Lean toward the whispers of your own heart, discover the universal truth, and follow its dictates. Release the need to hate, to harbor division, and the enticement of revenge. Release all bitterness. Hold only love, only peace in your heart, knowing that the battle of good to overcome evil is already won. Choose confrontation wisely, but when it is your time don't be afraid to stand up, speak up, and speak out against injustice. And if you follow your truth down the road to peace and the affirmation of love, if you shine like a beacon for all to see, then the poetry of all the great dreamers and philosophers is yours to manifest in a nation, a world community, and a Beloved Community that is finally at peace with itself.
Wishing you a healthy, hopeful weekend. -CambriaProduct and Lifestyle Director
