Top Recipes This Week (Sneak Peek: Sausage, Pepper and Potato Bake!)

Latest recipes from Simply Recipes.

Hi, friends! I hope you all had an absolutely splendid Thanksgiving and are now happily working your way through leftovers. (We have a bunch of great Thanksgiving leftovers recipes on Simply Recipes. Head on over to the site to check them out!)

Onwards with the holiday festivities! I love how we get so many little celebrations sprinkled throughout December in the form of special brunches with family, open-house holiday parties on the weekends, and office parties -- not to mention all the spontaneous gatherings with friends that always spring up.

If you're hosting a gathering this year, I highly recommend making our Herb-Spiced Mixed Nuts. So buttery and crunchy and good. For those of you celebrating Hanukkah (or if you're just in need of a good cookie!), definitely make a batch of our Chocolate Cranberry Rugelach. Oh, we have so many good recipes right now, it's hard not to list them all!!!

Cook well, eat well, be well. Happy holidays!

by Carrie Havranek

Once you taste these salty-sweet Herb-Spiced Mixed Nuts, you'll be glad you invited people over to help you eat them. They're dangerously good. Make them right before guests walk through the door and be prepared to make a second batch!

Chocolate Cranberry Rugelach

by Sally Vargas

Rugelach is a classic Jewish pastry that's not at all hard to make at home. This version is full of chocolate and dried cranberries! Bonus: They freeze well and keep well!

Sausage, Pepper, and Potato Bake

by Marta Rivera

This Sausage, Pepper, and Potato Bake is a crowd-pleasing and budget-friendly meal that still feels indulgent. Look for kielbasa on sale and round it out with peppers, potatoes, and onions. Don't skip the sauce - it's what makes the whole dish!

Honey Ricotta Stuffed French Toast

by Nick Evans

French toast is good, but this Honey Ricotta Stuffed French Toast is even better! It only looks and sounds fancy—you can whip this up in less than a half hour.

Creamed Spinach with Bacon

by Elise Bauer

Love spinach? So do we! This easy side dish is made with BACON and a creamy béchamel sauce. This makes a great side with roast chicken, seared fish, or a holiday dinner.
