This is a classic basil pesto recipe made with fresh basil leaves, pine nuts, garlic, Romano or Parmesan cheese, extra virgin olive oil, and salt and pepper. But guess what? It’s also pretty flexible! Don’t have Romano? Use Parmesan. Out of pine nuts? Swap them for walnuts. Don’t have enough basil? Sub half of the basil with baby spinach. It’s all delicious. |
