Simply Recipes 2019 Meal Plan: January Week 1

This month, we welcome back Marta Rivera for more of her meal plans. Marta is a trained chef, mom of twins, and Army wife!

Happy New Year from my family to yours!

I don't know about you, but 2018 flew by at warp-speed for me. What didn't slip by me was all of the work that went into planning — and pulling off — a festive holiday season. I'm beat!

That said, meals still need to be prepared, so it's time to get back into the kitchen. My plan this week is to cook meals that are less labor-intensive than what I've been doing for the past few months. You all with me?

THIS WEEK: Turkey White Chili, Albondigas Soup, Cheesy Baked Hot Dogs and More!

Our 4 Favorite Add-Ins for Macaroni and Cheese

Our 4 Favorite Add-Ins for Macaroni and Cheese

There are some comfort foods that just never get old and that make both kids and adults ridiculously happy. On the top of the list is macaroni and cheese.

Plain macaroni and cheese is absolutely delicious. But as you may have guessed from the title of this piece, there are many ways to gussy it up and keep it exciting each and every meal.

Mac and cheese is a great base for all kinds of seasonings, for hot sauces of all stripes, for different vegetables, even for different types of meat. There are almost no wrong answers here!
