Top Recipes This Week (Sneak Peek: Pressure Cooker Rosemary Pot Roast!)

Latest recipes from Simply Recipes.

Hi, everybody! Have you ever had (or even HEARD of) Cincinnati Chili?! It's a diner classic with origins in Cincinnati, Ohio. My dad loved it, so we grew up eating his attempts at a homemade version -- which I remember as being pretty darn good! Now you, too, can try it for yourself with our Simply Recipes version.

Also from this past week, don't miss our Rosemary Pot Roast made in the Instant Pot, Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Banana Bread, or Crispy Panko Fish Sticks! So many good recipes to choose from!

Simply Recipes 2019 Meal Plan: January Week 3

This month, we welcome back Marta Rivera for more of her meal plans. Marta is a trained chef, mom of twins, and an Army wife!

The shorter days and the fact that it's getting dark at 4:30 in the evening is beginning to take its toll on me.

I’m making meals this week that bring comfort, but some that are also more hands off. Nothing beats the winter blues like cuddling up with your loved ones, and easy meals help make that a reality.

Slow cooker dinners along with one-dish meals take away a lot of the stress that surrounds mealtimes. Prep vegetables by slicing and dicing everything you'll need for the week, and pulling together meals will be less time consuming!

Our Favorite Banana Bread Mix-ins

Our Favorite Banana Bread Mix-Ins

Our Favorite Banana Bread Mix-Ins

There is nothing (nothing!) wrong with a plain slice of banana bread. We’re always excited to see a few bananas moving past their prime in the fruit basket because we know a loaf of banana bread will be in the works very soon.

But banana bread, like many quick breads, gets even better when you add in an extra ingredient to give it some more flavor and texture. Then you've got something special to have on the kitchen counter, ready to be sliced for breakfast, a grab-and-run snack, or a late afternoon coffee break.

It's especially wonderful when wrapped up for a helpful neighbor or that awesome teacher at your kid's school.

Would you believe that after over a decade of making and writing about food, this is one skill that still evades me? No longer! Our writer Sally Vargas has shared her method for fool-proof fried eggs, and I am feeling confident!

Cheers for 2019!
